Sinopsis
Mirai Asahina, una niña de 13 años que está a punto de empezar su segundo año de secundaria, ve cómo un objeto misterioso cae en el parque. Emocionada, se lleva consigo a su osito de peluche, Mofurun, para ver de qué se trata. Al llegar allí, ve a una niña llamada Riko volando en una escoba. Mirai tiene muchas preguntas, y Riko le explica que está buscando algo. Las dos llevan colgantes similares. Entonces, Batti, un aliado del usuario de magia negra Dokurokushi, aparece ante ellas y les exige la «Piedra de Enlace Esmeralda». Batti crea un monstruo llamado «Yokubaru» y las acorrala.
