Sinopsis
Goku Son es un joven que vive solo en el bosque, hasta que una chica llamada Bulma se cruza con él en su búsqueda de unos objetos mágicos llamados "Bolas de Dragón" Como se dice que los artefactos conceden un deseo a quien reúne los siete, Bulma espera reunirlos y desear un novio perfecto. Goku posee una bola de dragón, pero por desgracia para Bulma, se niega a separarse de ella, así que ella le propone un trato: puede acompañarla en su viaje si le presta el poder de la bola de dragón. Así, los dos emprenden el viaje de sus vidas. Pero no lo hacen solos. Por el camino, conocen al viejo Muten-Roshi y al aspirante a discípulo Kuririn, con quien Goku se entrena para convertirse en un artista marcial más fuerte para el próximo Torneo Mundial de Artes Marciales.
